 In August, 2007, Nica Rose was re-christened as Creations by L after its new owner, Lois Manza. Lois has always been interested in all sorts of arts and crafts, and
became interested in beading when she and her husband, Richard, moved to nearby Bradenton from Rhode Island in 2003.
Her friend of 25 years, Louise Yaghjian, got Lois hooked on beading and she has been creating ever since! She and Louise began selling their jewelry at area church
bazaars and craft fairs and were regulars at the Main Street Market in downtown Bradenton for 3 years before Lois purchased the store on Marina Drive.
All of the jewelry at Creations by L is made by Lois. She is always browsing magazines and the Web to see what's new in styles and colors. She also learns new bead weaving stitches and techniques which she teaches during classes at the shop.
When she is not behind the counter at Creations by L, Lois enjoys doting on her two young granddaughters, Jordyn and Laila, and spending time
with Richard on the water.
